Launching March 2007. If you're performing at a venue in or around Brighton and would like your music to be included in the show prior to your gig, please send us your band/gig details and an MP3 you'd like us to play to: plugcast@googlemail.com. DJs/record labels - please send a track(s) that represents the type of music you will be playing that night. We would like to hear from everyone. There is no music policy on our show. If you have a gig, then you qualify. Any genre, any standard.

The Cold, Hard Truth About Recording Contracts
If you make music, would like to make it your profession, and believe that all it takes is for a label to come along and sign you...you would be advised to read this article. It explains some cold, hard facts about record deals. The artticle refers to US experience, but it absolutely holds true for music makers here. Read and learn... At A3, we do the 50/50 deal with our artists, as mentioned in the article. And we don't take their ownership of the copyright of the track, we just ask them to license it to us.
